Kathleen (Yamin) Jin obtained her undergraduate degrees in Accounting and Economic Law from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law in China in 2000 and her Canadian law degree from the University of Windsor of in 2008.
Prior to joining law school in Windsor, Kathleen worked in the finance department of a multi-national company’s China operation, acted as a project officer for an international non-profit organization and ran a consulting business with her husband in Canada.
During her articling year with one of Canada’s top business law firms in their Ottawa office, Kathleen participated in advising clients, reviewing contracts, drafting documents and conducting due diligence for several high-profile transactions.
Kathleen focuses her practice on Wills, Trusts & Estate Planning, Real Estate and Business Law and is committed to serve clients with practical and innovative solutions that are tailored to their situation.
In addition to developing her legal practice, Kathleen enjoys cooking, hiking, reading and volunteering for the Ottawa International Student Friendship Program.
